Steven's Personal Health Journey With Acupunture

Acupuncture has always been a very personal experience with for me. In my early twenties, I was dealing with partial paralysis due to several automobile accidents and looking at major back surgery. After exhausting physical therapy, massage and chiropractic therapies, I was told there was no other alternative but surgery. Then a friend suggested I try acupuncture.

After ten sessions of acupuncture, the majority of my symptoms were relieved and I was enjoying a normal, active life. But life is filled with opportunities disguised as problems. Two years later I was diagnosed with macular degeneration. I was told I would be blind by the time I was forty and the best suggestion was to learn brail now. Acupuncture once again, assisted in the recovery of 90% of my eyesight and postponement of eventual blindness. At the age of 60, I continue to treat myself on a monthly basis to maintain healthy eyesight. I couldn't think of any other career that I would be meant for other than acupuncture.
